Man of the first matches so far “Siphiwe Tshabalala” (Video)

Kaizer Chiefs winger Siphiwe Tshabalala has matured into an excellent player, who brings goals, creativity and hard work to the Bafana Bafana side.

He played with immense energy against Mexico and took his goal brilliantly, firing into the top corner, leaving the goalkeeper with no chance.

It was another fabulous goal for him in Bafana colours, he only ever seems to score spectacular ones, and earmarks him as one of the possible stars of this World Cup.

South Africa rely heavilty on width and he always gave them that on the left. In the first half he worked himself into space brilliantly and provided a superb cross for Mphela, who just could not get on the end of the ball.

His work on the left was in contrast to Teko Modise on the right, who was nowhere near as effective and readily gave possession away. Tshabalala hardly wasted a ball all game.
